# Official Esca domains

> withesca.com and esca.black are official Esca domains. Esca is operated by 6060 Labs, Inc..

Canonical HTML: https://withesca.com/official-domains

If a link, a message, or a payment request claims to be Esca and is not listed here, it
is not from Esca.

## Websites Esca owns

- **withesca.com** — The Esca app and website. This is the only place Esca asks you to sign in.
- **esca.black** — An official Esca domain. It sends you to withesca.com.
- **escaapp.com** — Registered by Esca and held in reserve. It does not serve a website.
- **ridewithesca.com** — Registered by Esca and held in reserve. It does not serve a website.

Esca signs you in on withesca.com and nowhere else.

## Email Esca sends

Automated Esca email is sent from **send.withesca.com**, never from the root domain.
To reach a person at Esca, write to **desk@esca.black**.

## How to check a link is really Esca

1. Read the address backwards. The part that matters is the last two words before the
first single slash. In `withesca.com.example.com/pay` the real site is example.com.
2. Anything ending in `.withesca.com` is Esca. A web address that merely contains the
word "esca" somewhere else is not.
3. When in doubt, type withesca.com yourself rather than following the link you were sent.

## What Esca will never do

- Esca will never ask for your password.
- Esca will never ask you to send money by bank transfer, gift card or cryptocurrency.
- Esca will never call or text you from a phone number of its own. Esca runs no phone line.
- Esca will never ask you to move a payment to a different website to finish it.

Report anything pretending to be Esca to desk@esca.black.
